Striking Down Their Opponents!!
The 1999 Pirate Football Team was loaded with experience. The fifteen seniors on the team led the pirates to a four and four record. The Pirates experienced trouble starting off in games, but finished with pride and heart.
Winnebago and Osmond were the only two teams the score in the second half on our pirate defense. The Pirates just missed out of the playoffs by half a point.
Phil Sorensen and Doug Daum made the Lewis and Clark All conference Team. Kelly Lanp, Troy Porter, Joe Krusemark, Tom Wiseman, Justin Gutzmann, and Jeff Beacom were selected as All conference Honorable Mention.
