Preparing for the Future
The Lady Pirates basketball team was filled with underclassmen. There were only three seniors and one junior this year so the underclassmen played a big part in the Pirates had five wins and many close games. The girls placed seventh in the Wayne state Tournament with a big win over Omaha Roncalli.
Mr. Cliff Wiseman said,"We were proud of our upper classmen for not giving up the season and showing great leadership. We were very satisfied with the girls effort and become more competitive as the season went along.Nexy year will be an exciting year considering this year eighteen of twenty-two players were freshmen and sophomores."
