Smoking The Competition
The Lady Pirates track team had a great year. The team returned eight letterman. With only four juniors and seniors this year, the lady pirates were a young team on the rise because of their hard work and overall talent.
The track had some girls make it to the State Track Meet in Omaha. Amy Albrecht went to state in the 300m hurdles.
Mrs. Carol Porter says,"This year's team was a fun group to work with and we were all proud of all their personal best and accomplishments. You known when records are being broken that they are proving that hard work does pay off".
