Has Anyone seen my Chameleon? Has anyone seen my chameleon this morning? He has to be hiding somewhere. He asked me if we could play hide-and-go-seek, and then disappeared into thin air. I've looked high and low in the yard and the house and it seems like he's nowhere around. He's probably hiding right out in the open but doesn't yet want to be found. I'm guessing he looks like a leaf on a bush or the back of a sofa or chair. He could be disguised as a book or a bagel. Regardless, I don't think it's fair. If you come across my chameleon, please tell him I give up. He beat me today. He's clearly the champion at hiding so, next time, it's my turn to pick what we play. Calendar Change: No School for Students on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 We are going to adjust the calendar for Wednesday, November 25th ~ There will be No School for our students, but the staff will report for PD/a teacher work day. High school basketball and wrestling practices will still be held. In order to provide added support for our students, we are inviting and encouraging all students who have been absent due to COVID-19 or who need additional help with school work, to come to school between 7:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. to work individually with classroom teachers. The Nebraska Commissioner of Education has implemented instructional time flexibilities during the 2020-2021 school year to allow districts to provide professional development for our teachers. We appreciate your support and open communication. We are working hard to provide the highest quality education for each student, while keeping students and staff safe. If you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you, Lindsey Beaudette, Superintendent

In Preschool we talk about germs 🦠 🦠 🦠 constantly! Monday and Tuesday we spent extra time explaining how germs spread. On Monday We did a fun pepper (germs) and water activity by dipping a finger into water that had pepper in it- and all of the pepper (germs) stuck to their finger. When they put soap on their finger and stuck it back in the pepper water no “germs” stuck to their finger anymore. On Tuesday our clinical friend, Travis, taught us a lesson on germs with glitter and lotion. Each student had their own color of glitter put on their hands. After shaking hands or giving a high five to each friend- they now had ALL the colors of glitter on them. They were amazed and hopefully understand all this germ stuff that you can’t actually see! 🦠 🦠 🦠
