The Tri County Northeast girls put up an impressive showing in Hartington Tuesday, winning the Cedar Trojan Invitational.

Several outstanding performances were posted by the girls' team. Leading the Lady Wolfpack were Kiya Tornez and Bre Millard. Tornez reaped three gold medals on the day in the 100, 200 and long jump. Millard collected three second place finishes in the 100, 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles. Alejandra Hermosillo won two medals, running second in3,200 and fifth in1,600.

The boys' squad finished fifth in the nine-team field, but senior Bryan Isom had a banner day. Isom won three gold medals in the triple jump, 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles. Jude Ridenour collected two individual medals in the 1,600 and 3,200. Senior Jackson Belt found his way in the high jump again, finishing fourth, but getting a season best.
