The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack had a good, but not great day at the Ponca Invite on Tuesday.  A few things kept the girls’ team from winning the meet and the boys from possibly finishing higher in the team standings.

Leading the way for both teams were Bryan Isom, Kiya Tornez, and Bre Millard.  Isom won three gold medals in the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles and triple jump.  He also added a medal as a member of the 4X100 relay.  Bre Millard won two gold medals in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles.  Millard followed that up with second place medal in the 100.  Tornez won gold in the 100 and 200, while adding a fourth-place finish in the long jump.

Mica Tornez and Jude Ridenour bettered the 4-year cooperative records on the day.  Tornez in the shot put and Ridenour in the 1600 and 3200.

Next action for the Wolfpack is on Saturday at the Lewis & Clark Conference meet in Winnebago.  The starting time is set for 9:30 a.m.
