On Monday, May 5th, the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack Golf Team traveled to Covington Links in South Sioux City for the Lewis and Clark Championship Golf Tournament. This was the first tournament this year that weather was not a factor.

The Wolfpack tied for 3rd place shooting a 357, the best score the Wolfpack has had in three years. With a 357, this year’s wolfpack team tied the school record for best score and best finish at the Lewis & Clark Championship, previously set in 2022.

Senior Ben Jorgensen led the Wolfpack with a 75, the best round of his career. Jorgensen tied for 2nd place and went to a sudden death playoff. After two holes, Ben went on to win the playoff, earning him the runner up honors. With a 75, Jorgensen set the school record for best score and best finish for the Lewis and Clark Championship and tied the school record for lowest round.

 Sophomore Landyn Servine finished strong shooting an 88, earning him a medal for 15th place. Senior Gabe Olesen went on to shoot a 92, sophomore Jaxon Hall shot a 102, and freshman Braxton Sebade shot a 112.

The Wolfpack will be back in action on Thursday, May 8th at Wayne Country Club for the Wayne High Invite.
