The Wolfpack girls brought home the runner-up plaque for the second year in a row at the Lewis and Clark meet held at the Rolling Hills Golf Course.
Medalists for the Wolfpack were Alejandra Hermosillo who finished fourth and Rachael Bousquet who finished eighth. Chloe Peters and Hailey Millard rounded out the team with fourteenth and twenty-third place finishes respectively.
On the boy’s side, junior Jude Ridenour was the lone medalist on the day, placing ninth in a 43-boy field.

The Lewis & Clark meet also ran concurrently with the Duane Wilken Invitational. The team finished one spot lower in girls and boys. Norfolk JV runners bumped each squad down in the team standings by one position, but those who medaled also collected medals from this meet.
Next up the Wolfpack is the D-2 district meet in Norfolk at SkyView Park on Thursday, October 16th.
Meet time is 4:30 p.m. with the girls’ varsity race, followed by the boys’ varsity race at 5:30 p.m.
COACHES COMMENTS:
“The teams competed well. The runners maybe were not all at their season’s best, but they nonetheless ran well and finished as well as they could. Chloe Peters had the most remarkable day setting a career best, but credit to all athletes for giving their best. Good Luck at the District Meet Thursday!”
