TCNE basketball

The TCNE Wolfpack opened Friday night’s home game with an impressive offensive burst, taking a 26–21 lead after the first quarter, but the Bloomfield Bees surged in the second half to hand TCNE an 82–63 defeat.

TCNE stayed within striking distance through halftime, trailing just 39–35, but Bloomfield’s pace took over after the break as the Bees poured in 21 third-quarter points and 31 more in the fourth to pull away.

Senior Thatcher Lamp led the Wolfpack with a well-rounded performance, scoring five points while adding four rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Logan Morgan contributed five points, three rebounds, and three steals, while Jaxon Hall, Tucker Anderson, Blake Kneifl, and Jude Ridenour each chipped in three points.

The Wolfpack forced 13 steals and hit six three-pointers, but Bloomfield’s transition scoring and fourth-quarter run proved too much to overcome. Despite the loss, TCNE showed improved offensive balance and defensive activity—signs of growth as they continue the early-season stretch.
