The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack battled through four competitive quarters but came up short Tuesday night, falling 57–45 to the Siouxland Christian Eagles in a non-conference boys basketball matchup.

The Wolfpack stayed within striking distance early, trailing just 10–8 after the opening quarter before matching Siouxland Christian with 15 points in the second. The Eagles carried a narrow 25–23 advantage going into halftime, setting the stage for a tightly contested second half.

The Wolfpack received a balanced scoring effort, led by senior Thatcher Lamp, who finished with a team-high 11 points while also contributing seven rebounds and four assists. Sophomore Logan Morgan added eight points and pulled down a game-high nine rebounds, giving TCNE a strong presence on the glass. Junior Landyn Servine chipped in six points, five rebounds, and two assists, while Tucker Anderson provided a spark off the bench with five points on efficient shooting, including a three-pointer and a perfect night at the free-throw line.

Despite creating open looks, Tri County Northeast struggled to convert consistently, shooting 23 percent from the field and 25 percent from three-point range. The Wolfpack did capitalize at the free-throw line, knocking down 10 of 14 attempts for a solid 71 percent.

Siouxland Christian used a strong fourth quarter, outscoring TCNE 20–9 in the final frame, to pull away and secure the win. The Eagles’ late surge proved to be the difference after the Wolfpack had stayed competitive through three quarters.

Tri County Northeast finished the night with 35 total rebounds, nine assists, and four steals, continuing to show effort and physicality despite the setback. The Wolfpack will look to build on that hustle and clean up shooting efficiency as they prepare for their next conference game against the Wynot Blue Devils.
