Playing on the road at Omaha Nation High School, the Wolfpack worked to keep pace early but struggled to find consistency against a balanced and aggressive Chiefs squad. Omaha Nation used steady scoring and defensive pressure to build momentum throughout the game and gradually extend its lead.

Senior Thatcher Lamp led TCNE offensively with 10 points, adding seven rebounds and three assists in a strong all-around effort. Junior Landyn Servine followed with eight points and six rebounds, while sophomore Tucker Anderson contributed seven points, two rebounds, and a steal. Devin Reinert chipped in five points, and Logan Morgan added five more for the Wolfpack.

TCNE finished the night shooting 25 percent from the field, going 16-of-64 overall, and connected on four three-pointers. The Wolfpack stayed competitive on the boards, pulling down 31 total rebounds, including 11 on the offensive end, but were unable to convert enough second-chance opportunities.

Defensively, TCNE recorded seven steals and battled in the paint, with Knox Lamp pulling down six rebounds. Despite the effort, Omaha Nation’s efficient shooting and depth proved difficult to overcome.

The loss drops the Wolfpack to another learning opportunity as they continue to gain experience and prepare for the final stretch of the season. With several underclassmen seeing significant minutes, TCNE will look to build on the positives and rebound in upcoming contests.

Tri County Northeast returns to action later this week against the Mustangs from Stanton High School as they close out their regular season and look to post-season play.
