Nine students from our Emerson-Hubbard SkillsUSA Chapter attended the SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Competitions at Heartlands Event Center and Fonner Park in Grand Island on April 9-11th. While we didn't have any medal winners this year, our chapter took a significant leap into the future attaining some valuable experience in new contests and building relationships with industry leaders who coordinate these events. Our E-H students competed well and Mr. Eriksen knows that there are a handful of them that want to go back and win the same competitions next year with some confidence and experience under their belt!
