CLASS C-4 DISTRICT TRACK RESULTS
TRI COUNTY NORTHEAST WOLFPACK
The Tri County Northeast girl and boy track teams performed very well at the C-4 district meet in Hartington on Thursday. As a result, two athletes qualified for the state meet participating in four events.
The competition level was very high, and a few things did not go as planned, but nonetheless, the Wolfpack teams gave a valiant effort to raise their level of intensity to match the field they face.
Headlining the performance list for the Wolfpack were two girls, Joslyn Mackling and Kiya Tornez. Mackling punched her ticket in two events, the 300 hurdles and high jump, while Tornez qualified in the 100 and 200.
On the boys’ side, Tucker Anderson picked up four medals, running on three relays and placing sixth in the long jump. Jude Ridenour and Logan Kraemer had the highest individual finishes at fourth place in the long jump and the 3,200 respectively.

COACHES COMMENTS:
“The teams competed well today. That’s all the coaches could ask for. We couldn’t control what others did, but we did what we could do and that was enough. Congratulations to the entire team for a great season of improvement. It was a great way to end our season as a team and GOOD LUCK TO THE STATE QUALIFIERS!”
