Calendar Change: No School for Students on Wednesday, November 25, 2020
We are going to adjust the calendar for Wednesday, November 25th ~ There will be No School for our students, but the staff will report for PD/a teacher work day. High school basketball and wrestling practices will still be held.
In order to provide added support for our students, we are inviting and encouraging all students who have been absent due to COVID-19 or who need additional help with school work, to come to school between 7:45 a.m. โ 1:30 p.m. to work individually with classroom teachers.
The Nebraska Commissioner of Education has implemented instructional time flexibilities during the 2020-2021 school year to allow districts to provide professional development for our teachers. Due to COVID-19 isolation and quarantine measures, teachers are required to teach both in person and online and we need to provide them with more time to plan, prepare and learn how to best serve each student.
We appreciate your support and open communication. We are working hard to provide the highest quality education for each student, while keeping students and staff safe.
