School Picture retakes will be on Thursday, September 26th. If you would like to get picture retakes, the cost is $5.00 (unless there was a photographer error). All students who were absent on the original date will get their picture taken on the 26th.

It was a beautiful day for Area Range Judging! Eleven students competed in the contest using the knowledge of plant identification, soil science, and range management practices learned in class and applying it in the field. What a great day spent with such great students!

The middle schoolers reviewed their vocab words using a Kagan strategy called Quiz-Quiz-Trade on Friday. The test on Monday showed lots of improvement! Love this strategy!

Art students are off to a great start this school year! The first lessons all have to do with portraits and the history of portraits. Students created selfies and painted celebrities after working with photoshop to break their image up into values. Next up, students will work on creating a parody of the Mona Lisa, The Scream or American Gothic.

The music department just received word today that they were approved for a Nielsen Foundation grant for $14,000 to purchase more instruments! Thanks to their generosity, we will be purchasing 22 instruments for our students, and upcoming students, to use!!
