Wolfpack XC UPDATE: Due to extreme heat, Thursday's (8/24) cross country meet start time at Logan View has been moved to 9:30 AM for girls and
10:00 AM for boys. JH cross country will not be going to the meet.


Preschoolers are learning new things each day. This week is all about new manipulatives, yesterday we learned to use string beads.


The E-H FFA chapter will be hosting a tailgate before this week's football game against Lyons-Decatur Northeast. Pulled pork sandwich meals will be available starting at 6 pm in the concession stand for $7. Go Pack!

Congratulations to our first Energy Bus Students of the Week for the 2023-24 school year! These students had a GREAT first full week doing their best, helping others and being responsible, respectful and safe. Way to go!

TCNE Girls Golf kicks off their season today in the West Point-Beemer Invite at Indian Trails CC in Beemer. First tee off set for 9AM. Good luck girls!


TCNE Wolfpack varsity volleyball kicks off their season at the Hall of Fame Jamboree in Wisner tonight! First round begins at 6. TNCE will play the second round vs Aquanis in the West Gym. They will then play Wayne in the third round also in the West Gym. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for students with all proceeds going to support the Nebraska High School Hall of Fame. Concessions will be available. Go Pack Go!


1st through 3rd grade practiced shoe tying today during their first Wellness Wednesday in PE. To be able to use as much of our PE time as possible, shoe changing has to be efficient. Have them show you what they learned and encourage them to keep practicing!




Fishing in PE!? You bet! Real life snags included! Outdoor recreation is a great way to be active. The question is, when the time comes, how many live fish will we catch?



Preschoolers have been learning about their first letter in their name. They used stickers to fill their letter today!



E-H Schools Reminder: Picture Day is tomorrow, Thursday August 17th. All students and staff will be photographed. Students will receive a proof flyer with a personalized gallery approximately five days after picture day and at that time photos will be ready to purchase online. You will have the flexibility to order a package or specialty items. All orders will be shipped directly to you. Students received take home flyers with picture day details at school this week. Preschool and Kindergarten had quite the show at morning recess yesterday! They loved watching the start of this tree removal! It kept them entertained all day at their recesses!


4th Graders visited Graf Bees to see how our state insect makes honey and how it is extracted.



5th graders finished the week by Mastering the Marshmallow Tower Challenge. Students worked in groups using only marshmallows and spaghetti to create the tallest tower. The winner coming in at a whopping 24 inches tall!







Current members, prospective members and family members are welcome to join the FFA chapter in their first meeting of the year on Wednesday. There will be food, games and fun! See you there!

Due to a conflict with activities, the 2023-24 school calendar had a slight change in September. Fall P/T conferences will be held on Tuesday, September 19th instead of September 21st with an early out at 1:50. The updated calendar has been posted on the school website.
