
E-H Schools Reminder: Picture Day is tomorrow, Thursday August 17th. All students and staff will be photographed. Students will receive a proof flyer with a personalized gallery approximately five days after picture day and at that time photos will be ready to purchase online. You will have the flexibility to order a package or specialty items. All orders will be shipped directly to you. Students received take home flyers with picture day details at school this week. Preschool and Kindergarten had quite the show at morning recess yesterday! They loved watching the start of this tree removal! It kept them entertained all day at their recesses!


4th Graders visited Graf Bees to see how our state insect makes honey and how it is extracted.



5th graders finished the week by Mastering the Marshmallow Tower Challenge. Students worked in groups using only marshmallows and spaghetti to create the tallest tower. The winner coming in at a whopping 24 inches tall!







Current members, prospective members and family members are welcome to join the FFA chapter in their first meeting of the year on Wednesday. There will be food, games and fun! See you there!

Due to a conflict with activities, the 2023-24 school calendar had a slight change in September. Fall P/T conferences will be held on Tuesday, September 19th instead of September 21st with an early out at 1:50. The updated calendar has been posted on the school website.


Preschoolers rocked their first day!! If your child says they had to go to the principal's office today, they aren't wrong! ๐ During our school tour we visited the principal's office to see what Mr. Nielsen was up to!



It was so exciting to see the buses and vehicles pulling up to our schools this morning and students hopping out for the first day of classes! ๐ It's great to see our halls and classrooms buzzing again! ๐ Welcome back E-H students and staff!

The Agriculture classoom tables got a paint job over the spring semester and summer. Now they are ready for students to be back in the classroom tomorrow and be used as learning tools throughout the year. Huge thank you to MacKenzie Liewer, Elizabeth Sattler, and Nicole Messerschmidt for their creativity and artistic ability in completing this project!

Teachers and staff at Emerson-Hubbard Community Schools are all back to school today! They are spending today and tomorrow in various meetings and trainings along with getting classrooms and lessons ready for the first day of school on Thursday. Welcome back everyone! We are looking forward to a great year together!

Middle School/High School student signature packets are available for pick up at the High School office from 8:00-2:00 Wednesday through Friday this week and Monday through Wednesday 8:00-4:00 next week. Packets for elementary students and MS/HS families who have not picked up their packets will be sent home first day of school. Computer policy agreement must be signed before MS/HS students receive their Chromebooks.
