New this year at the elementary only - Spring Photo Day. All elementary students will get their pictures taken on Wed., March 8th. If you would like to order photos you can after seeing the proof flyer approximately five days after photo day. For more information, see the flyer. Students have the flyers to bring home.


Congratulations to the February 2023 Energy Bus Classroom Drawing Winners! Their names were drawn out of their classroom's Energy Bus tickets. They selected different rewards such as being junior principal, having Mr. Nielsen bring a snack for their class, and having a no homework pass for a night to name a few. Keep up the great work Emerson-Hubbard Elementary students!


Thanks Mrs. Martin for bringing the second graders down to the Preschool classroom to read to them this afternoon!





1st-5th graders and families, It's our final week of reading Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library! Will Kyle Keeley's team escape first? or Charles Chiltington- who never loses? All activities to earn extra reading store $ are due Friday! We hope you've enjoyed the book!

The more you READ the more you KNOW! 📚 This week, February 27th through March 3rd, Emerson-Hubbard Elementary will be celebrating Read Across America Week! Students and teachers will be Reading for enjoyment and doing English Language Arts lessons just like they do every day in class but students are also invited to participate in dress up days to share their excitement for reading! It's a great time to celebrate the importance of reading at school and at home! ❤️📚


Good luck to the E-H Speech Team as they compete in their last regular season competition before districts at the LCC meet in Coleridge today! Speak up team! 👏🏼


The 2023 Battle Night date is fast approaching! Thanks to the New-to-You covering entrances fees and the EH Booster Club for covering t-shirt costs! See Mrs. Millard or Ms. Matthews to get your name on the list for your t-shirt by Friday, March 3rd!


Best of luck to Emerson-Hubbard Quiz Bowl members Hudson Morgan, Charlie Doyle, and Liz Sattler as they compete LIVE in the 2nd round of the KTCH Quiz Bowl vs Chambers this morning at 9:30 AM! The winner advances to the 3rd round vs Creighton live on KTCH at 10:30 and the loser is eliminated. Good luck E-H quiz players!

FFA Elementary Ag Day 2/22/23 - Yesterday morning members of the FFA visited the elementary to talk to students about animal safety and proper handling.




Tomorrow, Thursday, February 23rd, Emerson-Hubbard Community Schools will have a 2 hour late start. Bus routes and your child's arrival time should be two hours later than normal. Breakfast is not served on late starts.
