To celebrate National Agriculture Week, the 2nd grade had visitor, Hannah Borg, read them a book about the soil and plant cycles. The Nebraska Farm Bureau also provided a resource kit of activities to learn more about where their food comes from and how ag products are used.

The E-H FFA Ag Issues team would like to invite the community to their presentation on insect protein as they prepare for State FFA Convention on April 2nd. All are encouraged to come as we discuss the benefits and drawbacks to the use of insect protein in both the feed and food industries. We believe insect protein can be part of the solution to food insecurity. We will be answering any questions you may have. See you there!

On Thursday afternoon, students were treated to their ice cream party after successfully meeting the school's 3rd Quarter Reading Challenge. It was a great way to reward students for their commitment to reading.
