2019 Wayne State College Music Festival
We had a great week in first grade learning about area, dental, Nebraska, and Dr. Seuss. We are also ready to cheer on our mushers for the great Iditarod starting this weekend.

Today, members traveled to Norfolk for CDE’s (Career Development Events). Members competed in contests testing their knowledge in different areas.
Competing were:
Farm Business Management: Melanie, Jacob, and Taylor
Vet Science: Taylor, Melanie, Nick A., and Nolan
Agronomy: Jacob, Nolan, and Nick A.
Floriculture: Caleb, Carter, Sam, and Nick B.
Meat Science: Caleb, Carter, Sam, and Nick B.
Melanie also received her plaques for District Champion in Diversified Agriculture Placement and Swine Placement proficiencies.

The students attending the conference art workshops today will leave at 10:00 to go to WSC.

The Buena Vista Honor Band scheduled to take place tomorrow has been cancelled.
The boys basketball team will take on Elm Creek in the District Final on Monday, February 25th at Cross County High School at 6:00 p.m.
