E-H Academic & Activity Awards/National Honor Society Induction Ceremony is tomorrow, Wednesday, April 30th at the EHHS gym at 2:30. All community members and families are invited to attend. The event will be live streamed on EH Broadcasting YouTube if you are unable to join us.

On Thursday, several agriculture students got the opportunity to check out Kirkos Ag in Fremont, Nebraska. This facility breeds and rears mealworms to then sell mostly to the exotic pet and bird industry. This hands-on facility handles thousands (probably millions) of mealworms daily; sorting, feeding, counting, and packaging. This was an incredibly eye-opening experience and we'd like to thank Cheryl and Drew for letting us check out their facility and explain how their operation works.
Ms. Hughes' third grade class went to visit Combs School and the O'Connor House today! They enjoyed seeing what it was like to live and go to school back then, and several even stated, "I would love to live back in the older days, it seems so fun!"

Emerson-Hubbard Skills & Technical Sciences Open House & Silent Auction:
We are inviting the community to join us for lemonade and cookies and tour the new shop from 6-8pm on Tuesday May 6th. This is a great opportunity to see what the students have been able to accomplish in the new facility. We will also organize a silent auction to sell some of the projects they have completed throughout the year. The proceeds will go directly to our S.T.S account to help support material cost for future projects.
