E-H Science Club and FFA students participated in the Wonderful World of Water in Pierce, Nebraska on September 18th. The event is sponsored by the NDE from Norfolk and is open to any freshman or sophomore student. Students listened to presentations about water resources and water conservation efforts. They competed in a teams competition with other schools by answering quiz questions after each presentation which were scored. Emerson-Hubbard had 2 teams, one consisting of freshman students and the other sophomore students. There were 8 teams in the competition. Our sophomore team placed 3rd overall. There was also a water rocket contest in which our students participated.
