From an applicant pool of thousands of high school scholar-athletes graduating with the class of 2024, about 4,800 have earned the honor of becoming School Winners in the Heisman High School Scholarship competition awarded by The Heisman Trophy Trust. The Heisman Memorial Trophy is annually awarded to the most outstanding college football player in the nation. The E-H Student Council has once again partnered with the Post 60 Market in Emerson in hopes of spreading holiday cheer to people of all ages in the two communities. The store has graciously offered to host a Giving Tree which will have Wish Lists for children from the school district. If you would like to fulfill a Wish List please see the instructions below. The Sophomore Santa's are doing a couple fundraisers for the upcoming holiday season. The first is Secret Santa which will take place during finals week. It is $10 to participate and students will receive 3 treats and a small gift delivered by the sophomore class during the day. We will also have a Santa Shop open on three separate dates for students to shop for family and friends. Gifts will range from $1-$5 and will be while supplies last. During the Santa Shop we will provide gift wrapping services for community members. E-H One Act placed 4th at districts today. The cast and crew did an amazing job representing EHHS with their best performance to date! Four students were recognized for outstanding performances: Kiya Tornez, Codi Olson, Marquis Moniz, and Calie Cockburn. Congrats to all!

The E-H Cast, Crew, & Directors invite their family, friends, and community to attend their performance tomorrow, Tuesday, November 21st at the E-H High School Gym. The performance will begin at 3:00 P.M. The group will perform at district competition next Monday, November 27th.

Next Tuesday, November 21st E-H 7th and 8th grade students will be participating in a Leadership Summit at Sacred Heart Gym in Emerson. At the event middle school students will build and apply self-confidence, develop an understanding of the importance of leadership, and work as an active team member to accomplish tasks. Students were given permission slips to take home and get signed. Please return them by Monday, November 20th.
