2nd Graders went on a hunt for the gingerbread man this morning and learned about the businesses in town at the same time! Here are just a few businesses they visited!
Due to some very excited and eager elementary students, Santa Shop will be closed tonight for restocking. We will still provide gift wrapping from 4:00-5:00.
5:45 PM UPDATE: The ducks got delayed in delivery so tonight's "Chuck a Duck" fundraiser will be postponed. Practice tossing skills for the "Chuck a Duck" fundraiser held by the Allen Junior Class during halftimes of the basketball games tonight in Allen. One duck for $2, 3 for $5 or 6 for $10. The duck that lands closest to the center wins 50% of the pot!

REMINDER: Giving Tree Gifts are due back at the high school or the grocery store by this WEDNESDAY, December 13th!
The E-H Student Council has once again partnered with the Post 60 Market in Emerson in hopes of spreading holiday cheer to people of all ages in the two communities. The store has graciously offered to host a Giving Tree which will have Wish Lists for children from the school district. If you would like to fulfill a Wish List please see the instructions below. If you are interested in making a monetary donation to go towards gifts please make all checks out to EH Student Council and mail it to EH StuCo at P.O. Box 9, Emerson, NE 68733.

Our annual spelling bee took place on Friday and it was well attended. Thank you parents and grandparents for supporting the students as they put on quite a show with their outstanding spelling skills.
JV Wolfpack Basketball teams are in action today at the Wisner-Pilger tournament. Girls action begins at 11 vs Wakefield and boys first game is at 12 also vs Wakefield. Teams will then face Wisner-Pilger. Girls at 1 and boys at 2pm. All games are in north gym. Good luck Pack!

What you say and do makes a difference! Congrats to the MS/HS students and staff who were nominated by others at E-H to receive the "Difference Maker" awards for the month of November... Students: Lux M., DeLaney F., Ally B., Maddie F., Emma L., Logan M., Jaden H., Jenni O., Jackson B., Johnny Ahlers, Mrs. Millard, Mrs. Nielsen, and Ms. Vraspir. Several other students and staff also received notes telling them the positive things they do and say that make a difference. Keep up the positive words and actions everyone!
