On Tuesday, the freshman students from Emerson-Hubbard and Allen visited the University of Nebraska Lincoln East campus. They learned about all the programs UNL offers, sat through a mock lecture on biological systems engineering, toured campus, ate lunch, and visited the dairy store. However, students seemed to have the most fun in the ag communications building where they got to take turns running all the different parts of a newscast! From cameras to teleprompters to news anchors and weather! Thanks for hosting us UNL East Campus!
The E-H Student Council hosted yesterday's Veterans Day Program. The high school band, middle school choir, and 4-5th grade performed musical selections. Members of the FFA folded the flag and 8th graders read "In Flanders Field". Quilts of Valor were presented by Wakefield Quilt Shop Quilters and a slideshow featuring veterans from the community was shown. The program had many guests in attendance. Veterans, we thank you!

TCNE Wolfpack Girls Basketball Team is hosting a fundraiser this Friday, November 15th at Sidelines in Wakefield. The girls will be serving customers from 5-9pm for tips. Sidelines menu and steak phillies will be available to order and purchase. A free will donation will also be taken for the basketball team. Hope to see you Friday at Sidelines!

Mark your calendars! The Winter Concert for E-H Elementary and MS/HS will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. PreK-5th will begin at 6:30 P.M.. Following a brief intermission, the MS/HS portion of the concert will begin. Our music instructors will share more info closer to the concert date. ❄️🎄
Last night at Emerson's Night On Main one of our FFA Members, Emelia Harral, displayed her Agriscience Fair project. She shared her project and also conducted an experiment. The experiment will help to further her research so that she can take her project to the State FFA Convention in the spring. Great job Mia!
