On Wednesday, the E-H FFA assisted the Pender FFA with Farm Safety Day at the Pender Park. The day was filled with lessons on tractor, grain bin, ATV, archery, and animal safety. There were also demonstrations on fire safety from the Nebraska Fire Marshal; seat belt safety from the Nebraska State Patrol; electrical safety from NE Public Power; and chemical look-a-likes from the Thurston County Extension. We thank all of those that helped make today a great success!

The kindergarten and 1st grade PE classes are working on underhanded tossing skills. A crowd favorite station was the Joey Jumper! It’s a fun new piece of equipment to practice catching!
